ViZoo – New Application in the AppAudioGuide Ecosystem Dedicated to Zoos
For over 5 years, we've been creating digital guides for museums and cultural institutions through the AppAudioGuide platform. Our solutions are used, among others, at the National Museum in Gdańsk and the Silesian Museum in Katowice. Today, we're pleased to announce that we're expanding our ecosystem with a brand new product – ViZoo.
What is ViZoo?
ViZoo (from "Visit Zoo") is an intelligent mobile application designed specifically for zoos. It's not just another "zoo map" – it's a comprehensive tool that combines visitor convenience with advanced analytics for management.
The application consists of two layers:
For zoo visitors:
- Intelligent route planner – select the animals you want to see, and the app draws the optimal path
- Interactive map with descriptions of over 200 animals, photos, and fun facts
- Live event notifications: "Penguin feeding in 15 minutes!"
- Games and activities for children – stamp collecting, quizzes, memory games
- Ability to save favorite animals and share routes with friends
For zoo management:
- Visitor traffic heatmaps – visualization of where guests spend the most time
- Attendance predictions 2-3 days in advance using ML algorithms
- Animal Engagement Score – popularity ranking of animals (0-100 points)
- Monthly analytical reports ready for presentations
- Admin panel for content management
See how it works!
We've prepared an interactive prototype of the visitor app:
Why AI in zoos?
Zoos in Poland are visited by over 10 million people annually. Yet most of them manage visitor flow "by eye" – without hard data on which enclosures are popular and which are being skipped.
ViZoo changes this paradigm. Thanks to anonymous GPS tracking (with user consent) and machine learning algorithms, zoos receive tools that were previously available only to large retail chains or amusement parks.
An example? The system can detect that 78% of visitors skip the Reptile Pavilion despite its location along the main path. That's a signal: maybe the problem lies in signage? Or perhaps it's worth relocating more attractive species there?
When is the launch?
We're working intensively on ViZoo and plan to launch the first pilot implementations in June 2026.
We're currently finalizing:
- Technical architecture
- Attendance prediction algorithms
- Admin panel for zoo staff
Want to know more?
If you manage a zoo or work in the industry and want to learn more about ViZoo, we invite you to get in touch. We'd be happy to schedule a presentation and tell you about the system's capabilities.
ViZoo – because a modern zoo deserves modern tools.
