We are proud to share that our dedicated audio guide application, MNG AudioGuide, has officially debuted at the National Museum in Gdańsk! This is a truly special moment for us – collaborating with such a prestigious institution is not only a great honor but also a testament to the fact that our technological solutions cater to the needs of both museums and their visitors.
MNG AudioGuide is more than just a guide. Our goal was to create a tool that enhances the visitor experience, provides easy access to information, and makes a museum visit even more inspiring. With features such as:
- Audio narratives that bring the stories behind artworks to life.
- Interactive maps that help visitors locate key exhibits effortlessly.
- Multimedia content to enrich knowledge about the artworks.
visitors can explore exhibitions in a way tailored to their interests and pace.
Our collaboration with the National Museum in Gdańsk began with a shared goal: to make art and culture more accessible to everyone. Through close cooperation with the museum’s team, we adapted the app to suit the unique character of the collection and the diverse needs of its audience. The result? A solution that blends tradition with modernity, paying tribute to Gdańsk’s cultural heritage.
In the first stage of our partnership, we focused on:
- Designing the app interface in line with the Client’s guidelines.
- Producing audio recordings for the exhibition: Pious and Virtuous. Former Gdańsk Residents in the Mirror of Art in both Polish and English.
- Producing audio recordings for the exhibition: Hans Memling’s "The Last Judgement" in both Polish and English.
- Including audio description tracks.
- Preparing detailed room maps with exhibit markers.
- Publishing the application.
The app underwent an accessibility audit and received the appropriate compliance certification with the WCAG 2.1 standard.
